The Election Committee (EC) would like to remind you of the upcoming Board of Trustees (BOT) elections.

- Early Voting: Friday, May 16th, from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Masjid.
- Main Election: Saturday, May 17th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Masjid.

We invite you to join us for dinner after Maghrib prayers on Saturday, May 17th. During this time, the EC will announce the election results and introduce the newly elected BOT board to the community.

Dear Respected TIC Members,
Assalam’Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu!
The Election Commission (EC) has completed the nomination period and compiled the biographies of the Board of Trustees (BOT) nominees. Please find the nominee bios below.
The EC encourages all TIC members to carefully review these biographies to become informed and prepared to cast your vote on Saturday, May 17th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Insha’Allah.
To accommodate those who cannot attend on Saturday, early voting will be available on Friday, May 16th, from 7:30 PM until Maghrib prayers Insha’Allah.

Dear TIC Community,
Assalam’Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu!
Please take note of the following updates regarding the upcoming Board of Trustees (BOT) election:
Meet & Greet (Revised): Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts with the BOT nominees, we will be modifying the meet-and-greet format. Instead of an in-person meeting, we kindly request TIC members to submit their questions via email to the Election Commission (EC) at “ec@tracyislamiccenter.org“. The EC will compile and forward all questions to the nominees, gather their responses, and subsequently publish both the questions and answers on the TIC website. Please submit any questions you have by the end of Tuesday, May 13th
Nominee Introductions: The EC will distribute an email containing the nominees’ written introductions by the end of Sunday, May 11th
Sample Ballot: A sample ballot will be emailed to the community by the end of Wednesday, May 14th.
Election Date and Time: The BOT election will be held in person at the Masjid on Saturday, May 17th, between Asr and Maghrib prayers. To accommodate those who cannot attend on Saturday, early voting will be available on Friday, May 16th, from 7:30 PM until Maghrib prayers.
Election Location: The election will be conducted in person at the Masjid.
Ballot Counting and Results: Ballot counting will begin immediately after Maghrib prayers on Saturday, May 17th. The election results will be announced as soon as the counting is finalized.
Community Dinner: We invite you to join us for a community dinner following Maghrib prayers on Saturday, May 17th, to celebrate the election of our new Board of Trustees.

Dear Respected TIC Members,
Assalam’Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatu!
The TIC Election Commission (EC) is pleased to announce the commencement of the election process for the TIC Board of Trustees (BOT), scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 17th.
The nomination period will open on Monday, April 21st, and close on Friday, May 9th. During this time, the EC will review and accept nominations in accordance with TIC bylaws. All TIC members who have actively volunteered and served on TIC boards are eligible to run for the Board of Trustees.
EC members will be available to distribute nomination forms and answer any election-related questions after Jumu’ah prayers on Friday, April 25th, 2025 Insha’Allah.

The TIC Election Commission (EC) is pleased to announce the commencement of the election process for the TIC Board of Trustees (BOT), scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 17th from 6 PM to 8 PM Insha’Allah.
This is a friendly reminder from the Election Commission to all TIC members that the nomination period for the Board of Trustees (BOT) will close on Friday, May 9th. If you are passionate about contributing to our community’s leadership, we encourage you to submit your nomination form on or before the end of the day Friday May 9th.
